The sunshine, community spirit and plenty of pasties made for another fantastic Coverack Lifeboat Day on Saturday 22nd of August 2026.
Visitors gathered around the picturesque harbour to enjoy a day of, local produce, crafts, games and family fun. The main highlight was watching the lifeboats pull up alongside the harbour wall, giving a powerful demonstration of the vital role the RNLI plays in keeping our coastal communities safe.
The event welcomed people of all ages, including plenty of four-legged visitors, creating a wonderful atmosphere throughout the day. The harbour was buzzing from morning to evening as locals and visitors alike came together to support an incredibly important cause.
This year’s event has been one of the most successful yet, raising an outstanding preliminary total of more than £7,000 for the RNLI. We are incredibly proud to play even a small part in supporting such a worthwhile community fundraiser each year.
A special mention must go to the team in our Helston store, who for the past three years have been the talented bakers behind our pasties with purpose. Their hard work and dedication help make our contribution to the event possible, and we couldn’t be more grateful for their efforts.
Coverack Lifeboat Day continues to be a brilliant showcase of community spirit, local pride and the incredible work of the RNLI volunteers who dedicate their time to helping others.
Thank you to everyone involved, and thank you to Coverack for welcoming us back once again. 🚤☀️🛟
