Community spirit was in full swing at our Scorrier store on 29th August as we welcomed YMCA Cornwall for a fantastic day dedicated to raising awareness and supporting young people across the county.
Throughout the day, visitors had the opportunity to meet Youth Ambassador Dan and Fundraising & Partnerships Officer Blaise, who were on hand to share more about the vital work YMCA Cornwall does to support young people facing challenges, including those at risk of homelessness.
There was plenty to keep families entertained too, with children and grown-ups alike enjoying the chance to decorate their own gingerbread men while learning more about the charity’s impact within Cornwall. The event created a wonderful opportunity for meaningful conversations, bringing the community together in support of an important cause.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by, made a donation, decorated a gingerbread man, or simply took the time to learn more about YMCA Cornwall and the difference they make.
